OK. Lets describe the sweet, juicy chunks of music that DelMontis produce shall we?!

Firstly you take DelMontis and slice it in two. The first piece is the sticky finger lickin' talents of pianist/organist Frank Montis, with his knowledge of the Hammond trio’s of the Sixties, Donny Hathaway and Ray Charles, he translates these influences through his delicious vocal style and a deeply rooted love for groove music into the glowing songwriting for the band.

The 2nd slice of DelMontis is Saxophone player Rolf Delfos, known from The Houdini’s and The Jazzinvaders he adds creamy Sax to Montis’ thick chunks of groove by pouring over lashings of catchy melodies and steady horns.

‘Alive and Cooking’, member of the Intellectual Soul Sound and a group of 7 offer a fresh and fruity cocktail of Soul, Jazz, Gospel and Funk also.

So adding that all together AND if your partial to a little sweet treat then it’s only a matter of time before you devour this as both gentlemen love serving a refreshing helping of DelMontis to any audience!

Arrow Jazz FM organiseert in samenwerking met het Vredenburg en Hofman Café elke laatste zondag van de maand een muzikale jazz middag. Elke maand zal er gekozen worden voor een optreden van een nieuwe verfrissende band. Deze avonden zullen geregistreerd worden door de Concertzender. Zo vlak voor het weekend pik je als luisteraar van Eerst Jaap! bij Radio 6 zo maar even DelMontis mee. op 25 november presenteert DelMontis de nieuwe single 'Truth' (tussen 08:45 en 21:30u)
